African Havens is a unique set of projects. Far more than a “feeding scheme” or a “roof over their head,” a Haven is a “safe place” for those who have no other safe place. We strive to be a beautiful part of the answer to Johannesburg’s needs. At the Havens and its projects, you will not only find order and routine, both of which are important, but you will also find lots of love, care, sharing and mentoring. There are long talks with children, teens and adults who are puzzled by life, as we help them figure out their own journeys. We also walk with prospective parents who need support as they pursue adoption.
